A farmer had 3 pigs in individual pens made from 10 fence panels, as shown in the drawing above.
One day he went to town and bought 2 more pigs. However, he had no money left over to buy more fence panels to make pens for the new pigs. After some thought, the farmer arrived at a solution.
When he got home, the farmer rearranged the 10 fence panels so that each pig had his own pen, and each pen was the same size.
